ISSUESWITH­MYSLEEP

Since the begin­ning of his stud­ies and ongo­ing after his diplo­ma at the Stuttgart Acad­e­my Of Fine Arts in 2021, Max­i­m­il­ian Luz was build­ing his own lit­tle DIY-cos­mos around ISSUESWITH­MYSLEEP. Mean­while main­ly con­cen­trait­ing on music pro­duc­tion, he works with diverse instal­la­tions, includ­ing pro­jec­tion, film and visu­al art. Often in coop­er­a­tion with oth­er local and inter­na­tion­al artists. • Com­ing from Britrock, Indie and UK Hard­core music in
his ear­li­er years, influ­enc­ing his sound and style of pro­duc­tion, which pri­mar­i­ly can be heard in his livesets, he devel­oped his sound over Ambi­ent and Exper­i­men­tal in the direc­tion of Min­i­mal Tech­no, Organ­ic and Afro House, set­ting focus on groove, dance­abil­i­ty and a fast evolv­ing sound. Fierce lead synths meet­ing afrobeats, bald base­lines and catchy gui­tar riffs mak­ing his sound agi­tat­ing yet unique.
